About the project, provided by the applicant In 2024, the Tsarskoye Selo Lyceum fully regained its historical appearance. The recreation of the Lyceum continued for 75 years (1949—2024).
The reconstruction of the 2nd-floor halls became the final stage of restoration, preserving the architectural and stylistic connection with the Lyceum exposition interiors on the 3rd and 4th floors. The underlying idea is the principle of a balanced combination of classical and modern museum approaches, taking into account the artistic and historical context.
The main goal of the exposition is to recreate a complete picture of the daily life of the lyceum students using classical exhibition means, delicately complemented by modern multimedia tools. All object zones are arranged according to the scientific concept and thematic structure.
