Voting Completed: the Golden Trezzini Awards Prepare for the Ceremony

On November 3, both tracks of voting at the 8th International Golden Trezzini Awards for Architecture and Design came to a close – the Jury determined this year’s laureates, while the website visitors selected the winner of the People’s Choice Award.
The online voting took place from February 17 to November 3, lasting more than eight months. This extended period ensured sufficient representativeness and statistical stability of the results. Taking into account the scope and duration of the voting, the Organizing Committee decided not to revise the results due to the attempts of artificial vote inflation recorded in the final days. These incidents were deemed statistically insignificant and not affecting the overall outcome.
At the same time, a technical verification of the votes is underway: incorrectly submitted or automatically generated votes will be excluded from the count. The Organizing Committee apologizes to those who voted in good faith but encountered temporary technical difficulties when confirming their votes by email.
The Organizing Committee thanks all participants of the public voting for their engagement and support of their favorite projects, as well as the members of the Jury and the International Council for their professional assessment of the finalists’ works. Special appreciation goes to all nominees who presented their projects to experts and the broader public.
The names of the laureates will be announced on November 21 at the State Hermitage Museum. Following the awards ceremony, the full results – including the list of winners, finalists, and recipients of special certificates – will be published on the official website www.goldtrezzini.ru/en.
The International Golden Trezzini Awards for Architecture and Design, established in 2018 and named after Domenico Trezzini (1670–1734), the first architect of St. Petersburg, are held under the motto “Architecture as Art.” Their mission is to identify and promote works of the highest artistic value in the fields of architecture, design, restoration, set design, and art in outdoor public Spaces, and to ensure their inclusion in a museum collection. As part of its cooperation with the State Museum of the History of St. Petersburg, the Golden Trezzini Awards offer laureates a unique opportunity to ensure the transfer of their works to a state museum fund.
The Awards are organized by the Worldwide St. Petersburg Club. The Honorary Chairman of the International Council of the Golden Trezzini Awards is Mikhail Piotrovsky, President of the Worldwide St. Petersburg Club and General Director of the State Hermitage Museum. The Council and the Jury bring together leading architects, art historians, public figures, and diplomats from various countries.
Since its foundation, the Awards have received more than 6,400 submissions from 114 countries. In 2025, the competition included 1,289 entries from 54 nations, with finalists representing 13 countries.
Submissions for the 9th International Golden Trezzini Awards will open in February 2026.
