2026 Golden Trezzini Awards: Call for Entries Now Open
The Worldwide St. Petersburg Club invites applicants to participate in the 9th Golden Trezzini Awards for Architecture and Design.
Established in 2018 and named after Domenico Trezzini (1670–1734), the first architect of St. Petersburg, the annual Golden Trezzini Awards unite architects, designers, restorers, and students from all over the world. The competition is open to projects worldwide, with no geographical restrictions for applicants.
The motto of the Awards is “Architecture as Art.” The main prize is a gilded figurine of Domenico Trezzini. There are 27 nominations in the ninth season of the Awards.
The Golden Trezzini is the world's only architecture and design competition where the winning projects are added to a museum collection. The works of laureates and finalists are inducted into the collection of the State Museum of St. Petersburg History and displayed at the annual “Architecture as Art” exhibition at the Peter and Paul Fortress.
The Awards are organized by the Worldwide St. Petersburg Club. The International Council of the Awards is chaired by Mikhail Piotrovsky, Director of the State Hermitage Museum. The Council and the Jury include over 200 experts from 35 countries. The official manufacturer of the awards is the Imperial Porcelain Manufactory.
Since its inception, the Awards have received more than 6,400 entries from 114 countries.
The call for entries for the 9th Golden Trezzini Awards runs from February 11 to September 15, 2026. The awarding ceremony will take place on November 20, 2026, at the State Hermitage Museum.
Participation is free of charge.
The Awards launches its ninth season with a new official website, blending tradition with a step into the future.
