Golden Trezzini Awards Trophies to Be Made at the Imperial Porcelain Manufactory Starting in 2025

The Imperial Porcelain Manufactory (IPM) has become the official producer of trophies for the Golden Trezzini International Awards for Architecture and Design. The winners of the 8th season will receive porcelain sculptures of Domenico Trezzini, the first architect of St. Petersburg, handcrafted by IPM masters. The Awards Ceremony will take place on 21 November 2025 at the State Hermitage Museum.

The proposal to become a partner of the international competition was made to the manufactory by its chief organizer — the Worldwide St. Petersburg Club, whose President is Mikhail Piotrovsky, Director General of the State Hermitage Museum. “The Imperial Porcelain Manufactory and the Golden Trezzini Awards are closely connected by our beautiful city of St. Petersburg, whose history inspires both our artists and the sculptors participating in the Awards. It is a great honor for us to create trophies for the Golden Trezzini winners. Imperial porcelain has always been a benchmark of unrivaled quality. We are pleased to highlight the exceptional standard of the best projects recognized by the Awards through our statuettes,” noted Tatiana Tylevich, Director General of JSC “Imperial Porcelain Manufactory.” The Awards are rightfully considered the “Architectural Oscars.” Last year, they attracted 1,318 nominees from 55 countries. The Golden Trezzini enjoys high esteem within the professional community not only thanks to its wide international geography, but also because all winning projects are transferred to the collection of the State Museum of the History of St. Petersburg. Applications for the Golden Trezzini 2025 close on 17 September. To mark this occasion, the organizers have prepared an exhibition at the Gosudarev Bastion of the Peter and Paul Fortress, showcasing the best projects from last year’s Awards. The exhibition runs from 4 to 16 September.
